The Creative Kettle™ is a printable collection of 250 individually cuttable creative prompts designed for junk journalers, collage artists, mixed-media creators, paper crafters, journal makers, and anyone who sometimes finds themselves thinking:

“I want to create... but I don't know what to make.”

That's where the adventure begins.

Print the pages. Cut apart the prompts. Fold each slip. Mix all 250 together inside a kettle, jar, tin, box, basket, bowl—or whatever container you already have.

Then, whenever you need inspiration, draw 5–10 prompts without looking.

Whatever you pull becomes your creative challenge.

You might be asked to:

The prompts are intentionally mixed rather than separated into categories.

Why?

Because creativity isn't always supposed to be predictable.

One draw might lead you to create a delicate vintage bookmark.

Another could become a layered journal spread.

Another might send you digging through your scraps for something you haven't touched in years.

And sometimes an unusual combination might make you wonder:

Kit One is a downloadable, and printable.

It's a PDF document, and can be printed. Although please, as this document/kit is copyright protected, you cannot share the kit with anyone, because I am selling the kit, and have not authorized that the document be shared. The customer has every right to utilize the kit as intended for your own crafting and art pieces, and you own what you create. I'm just providing the inspirational ideas.

How you decide to utilize each prompt, and the prompts you draw - together, is totally up to you.

We do not accept liability for any interpretations, challenges, injuries, or anything else problematic, due to misuse, or any other errors, as permitted by law.

If you come to a point that something feels or seems off, not safe, or could cause challenges, please refrain from utilizing this kit, and contact your doctor, or psychiatrist, or therapist/counselor, because you could be going through something more than just a sign of trouble, you could be dealing with something that needs care and attention.

If the prompt is suggesting any supplies, tools, or products, that you do not have... simply throw that prompt away, and draw another one, and do so as needed, according to what you already have. This kit is not intended to have you or any of our customers, to have to go out or order online, any products, or supplies, tools, etc. Utilize what you have.

This kit may not be best for you if you don't like it, and don't feel sparks of inspiration. You can surely email me with any feedback to the product and we will do our best to accommodate everyone in the future when we make our subsequent kits. By the way, just in case you don't yet have the ability to print 27 pages of 250 prompts in grey (to save ink), you can probably get the prints done at your local library. That's where I print mine. :)
